As a historian, my main interests include architecture and the city. I view architecture as an artistic and social expression that safeguards collective memory, transforming every facade and space into a story that deserves to be told and preserved.
For me, reading is the essential bridge for constructing narratives, organizing my thoughts, and demystifying characters or places that have been forgotten.
At the same time, I really enjoy food and travel. I don’t see travel as simply getting from one place to another, but rather as an opportunity to unearth urban memories and experience a place mindfully, exploring the transformation of towns, neighborhoods, and districts at street level.
Driven by a constant enthusiasm for learning and supported by my academic training, I have specialized in teaching, academic research, and the promotion of urban historical heritage.
My professional experience includes providing institutional research support for international projects at Bates College and Brandeis University, as well as curatorial, cataloging, and documentation work at the Franz Mayer Museum and research institutes at UNAM. I am also active as a cultural promoter through my collaboration and strategic partnerships with venues and projects such as the Kaluz Museum, Open House CDMX, the City of Puebla, and Canal Once.
